Camp Is Getting Closer

Well the time has almost arrived, the kids leave for Camp Barnabas next week. We are starting to pack and make all the preparations. Although I know they will have a great time (at least Josh and Hailey will), I am getting very anxious. I know it is something Ashley needs to experience, and that the separation will be healthy for us both. I am looking forward to the rest, but am anxious about the whole experience. I have never been away from them that long and I’m afraid a lot could go wrong. I’m concerned Ashley will feel scared or abandoned. I am praying it turns out to be a wonderful experience for all of us and becomes something we plan every year. But in the meantime I’m finding the days leading up to it more and more stressful.
