Doctors, Doctors, and More Doctors - Part 2

Ashley has not had as many doctor appointments this month, but we are doing quite a bit at home. We went back to the gynecologist, and there hasn’t been much of a change in her infection. So now we have been trying a different medication for a week, then we will go back to Flagyl for another 21 days, twice a day this time. At the end of the month, if there is not any improvement, she will have to have an IV sedated full exam checking for foreign bodies. We are trying several natural antibiotics and probiotics, hoping they will help clean out her system, and encourage the prescription medications to work completely. The main thing we are trying is called Silver Shield. It was recommended by a friend, and is supposed to be excellent at killing bacteria, fungus, and viruses, also it is very safe. Ashley is getting it in oral, nasal spray, and topical doses, several times a day. It is hard to say if it is working or not. All I know, now, she is not sleeping well, but otherwise seems very happy. Time will tell. It appears we have come full circle in Ashley’s treatment. Originally posted September 2011
